Our UV-advanced sunscreen products provide the most effective broad-spectrum protection from the sun's harmful rays (this does not speak to our sunbathing-specific products, which naturally offer lower levels of UV protection). Upon setting out to start Hampton Sun, we searched high and low for the most specialized labs in the USA to bring our vision to life.
Our chemists are highly skilled professionals deeply enmeshed in the sun and skin care industry, each with years of experience. They work closely with the FDA to ensure that Hampton Sun products are of the highest quality while also keeping up with the latest technology in sun care.
1. ADVANCED WATER + SWEAT RESISTANCE
The majority of our sunscreens offer advanced water + sweat resistance technology. In this regard, 80 minutes is categorized as "advanced". In contrast, 40 minutes is what is more commonly offered within the sun care industry. This generally means you can go for longer without reapplying and still be protected (your activity level and other factors of course come into play here).
2. VANISHING ZINC
Our Mineral sunscreens have been touted as "the most luxurious mineral sunscreens ever made." Apart from their gloriously velvety-smooth texture and potent skin-focused ingredients, our mineral sunscreens rub into the skin with unbeatable ease, leaving behind zero white residue. This is in stark contrast to what is usually offered within the mineral sunscreen realm - unpleasant formulas that feel heavy and leave behind a definite white cast.
3. SOLSTICE TECHNOLOGY
Solstice technology is at the forefront of our mineral sunscreen mists. Solstice works particularly well with mineral formulas, helping to offset the heavy, uneven, white-cast-inducing qualities of Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. Solstice technology helps achieve an end product that spreads effortlessly, has a lightweight, silky-smooth texture, dries quickly, dispenses evenly, and leaves behind no white cast.
4. BAG-ON-VALVE PACKAGING
Our Continuous Mist formulas uses a special form of Bag-On-Valve technology. Here are the main highlights of the B.O.V. packaging that we use:
- Compressed air is used instead of propellant. This means that what is sprayed onto the skin and into the air/environment is pure product alone, not propellant.
- B.O.V. packaging is 100% recyclable and non-flammable
- Ensures up to 99.5% of the product is dispensed

Our testing processes are involved and extensive; we spare no costs to deliver the very best in sun & skin care. Testing is expensive, and believe it or not, not every suncare company places the same emphasis on it.
We are proud to offer sunscreen options that do not contain Oxybenzone or Octinoxate, two of the most cited concerns regarding sunscreen chemicals' potential harm to coral reefs. HOW DO I START A RETURN?

WHERE IS MY ORDER / WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
EMAIL #1: Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation.
EMAIL #2: Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive another email containing a tracking number.
Upon clicking on the tracking number, if you see “label created, not yet in system,” this means your package is still in the fulfillment process.
EMAIL #3: Once your package is fulfilled and is scanned in by the mail carrier, you will receive another email and the tracking information will begin to update.
Please keep your tracking number handy. As your package moves towards its destination, the tracking information will continue updating automatically.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
All Hampton Sun orders ship out with FedEx. Orders are fulfilled Monday - Friday. Orders placed will typically ship out within 24 hours.
Once you place your order, you will receive an email confirmation. Once your order has been fulfilled, you will receive a second email containing a FedEx tracking number. For updates, please check the tracking number assigned to your order.

At times, mail carriers may mark a package as delivered before it's actually been delivered. 99% of the time, the package shows up within the next two business days.
